Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

Great entertainment today from a Range Rover turning right into Albert Terrace from Sandon Road, at the Corporation Street lights.

Obviously, the many No Right Turn and No Entry signs were no great impediment to his progress, but he was stymied by the lack of highway left available by the inconsiderate drivers who were coming down Albert Terrace in the legally permitted direction.

Reversing didn't seem to be a particular skill, either...

Today's main excitement was one of these jumping a red light at me - I yielded whilst things were sorted out, not expecting to win any subsequent jousting, even if it was unladen at the time.

I had been alerted to the possibility that we weren't in a (wo)man and machine in total harmony situation by some clearly inadvertent movements during the earlier part of the waiting period and so was ready for it, but still wondering where things were going to end up...

This was followed by a Focus in the left-hand inbound lane at Creswell, but intending, apparently, (without any signalling at all) to go south on the motorway, spotting the hatched section and deciding that they probably should be using the tarmac that I was occupying legitimately. I hope she could lip-read.

Exactly the same manoeuvre today, but from a BMW with a 'personal' plate.

I wonder if it's a sat-nav issue?

Seems like a lot of motorists, pedestrians, well - everybody is at risk from some absolute morons, tonight "Motorcyclists" with no regard for anybody, just wanting to do what they hell they like, tear arsing around and basically waiting for somebody to get killed. Doxey Road and Sainsburys area, where they've been risin on the wrong side of the road, weaving in and out of traffic and being a nuisance.
Totally baffles me as to why anybody thinks it's fine, acceptable or even fun? Approaching the bend near Timberfileds 3 abreast is just carnage waiting to happen, as is going the wrong way round roundabouts or blocking access!

I didn't leave.. I opened my door to see 3 dark clad idiots riding side by side at about 40mph and thought enough was enough.

Obviously

Driving along Camp Road this afternoon heading toward Brocton, I was seriously tailgated by a SEAT Ibiza, obviously desperate to go faster than the 40mph I was doing.

As we started coming up out of the dip by the Katyn turn off, said driver was obviously very pissed off that I lifted off and started slowing and decided to be a hero and overtake. The reason I lifted off was because I saw two deer crossing up ahead, as SEAT man reached that point, probably at about 60mph a third began to cross causing our hero to swerve and go headlong up the bank and into a tree on the wrong side of the road.

I stopped long enough to ensure the tree was OK and left our now crestfallen hero to get on with it, steam and antifreeze pouring from his crumpled bonnet.

Perhaps they could add that to the 'x deer have been killed on this road' signs that don't appear to have any sort of appreciable affect?

X deer and one SEAT have been killed, and one person severley inconvenienced, on this road in the last month.

I might be seriously inconvenienced on this road? I'm gonna slow the f**k down.

Congratulations to the two selfish idiots in a diesel powered Range Rover and Mini parked in the two electric charge bays in the Civic Centre car park earlier. I just about had enough juice to get home (because Mrs p doesn't understand that she can plug the car in at home or work) but the guy in the Leaf didn't so he had to wait until you decide to come back.

Neither car was displaying a ticket or a disabled badge, so presumable just think parking in those bays is free, if they bother to think at all.

The 2 'charging' spaces are only electric only before something like 10am after that anyone is allowed to park.
There is details on the charger, I think it's so that if the carpark gets full the building employees can use those 2 if they are free after the morning rush.
Still a bit naff though.
