Examples of poor driving you have witnessed!

When the morons almost rear end you because they don't expect you to be going so slowly then you tend to keep an eye in the mirrors a bit more than normal, which is a minor inconvenience but yes, the boiling blood is what I mainly struggle with ;)
Fair point.

A Royal Mail van pulled out on me about half an hour ago from Tillington hall, I don't know if he wasn't looking in my direction or he just thought he'd chance it but I nearly hit him up the rear end, then the driver floored it - he must have been gooing well over 40mph for a very short distance before he turned right into the housing estate narrowly missing another driver traveling in the opposite direction. KN11 Y??

Had to stop on Tixall Road on the way into town this morning due to an HGV turning out of St. Thomas Street despite not being allowed down there. Probably going to Perkins but using a car sat nav instead of a HGV one.

Seen that a few times, living near there - surely it must be obvious to them before they turn down there off the Weston Road how tight it is?!?

Not to mention the signs... Sat Navs are great, but a replacement for looking where you're actually going they ain't!

Woman in a red/maroon Skoda Octavia this morning crawls right around the island at Weeping Cross and back up the Cannock Road. We pulled over for an ambulance which was racing up behind with sirens blaring and blue lights flashing........but the stupid woman in the Skoda must have been either blind, deaf or just plain ignorant. She didn't slow at all and when the ambulance was about to overtake her, she indicated right, started to move to the middle of the road, then got over to the left but still moving with her right hand indicator on. Ambulance manages to eventually get past , she then knocks her indicators off and she suddenly swings across and turns right into Wildwood without indicating .

Had a trip down the M5 to Minehead yesterday. Two bits of numpty motorway driving repeatedly experienced were:

- People joining from slip roads who think they have right of way over everybody in the inside lane and either: cut you up when they could easily have eased off the accelerator and slot into a gap behind or run out of slip road and are alongside you (because they either didn't ease off or alternatively accelerate enough) forcing you to change lanes to avoid a dink.

- At motorway merges where people joining the motorway are actually joining on what becomes a new lane on the motorway, but instead choose to treat it as a slip road which means they immediately cut you up on passing the chevroned bit or start undertaking you preventing you moving into what has become the new inside lane.

It seems we have been missing out on the action here. We did comment back in August in regards to this issue.
http://www.staffordforum.com/xf/index.php?threads/newport-road-tesco-traffic-lights.9421/page-2 for anyone interested.

We do believe that we co-ordinate this in the best way possible. Our team are quick and efficient to ensure the lorry is moved on as we realise it is an inconvenience. Most of our team are Stafford based therefore sympathise with the issues mentioned here. Unfortunately Tesco is not an option (already explored). This is not ideal but we as a town centre business we face these issues constantly and we have to deal with them the best we can. We are always interested in local opinion so please do not hesitate to contact our site at Stafford Peugeot 01785 245518 to discuss.
thanks Gemma

Nice one today at about 14:05 just outside Acoustica. Muppet is a metallic snot green Saxo came round the island a bit sharpish and lost it turning the corner. He came to a stop by the PissyWorld junction exit, facing almost completely the wrong way.
Sadly there were no ridiculous spoilers or dustbin sized exhaust in evidence to make the story perfect.

The other day I saw a Corsa driver go through the lights by Frankie and Bendys travelling out of town along the Lichfield Road. Said Corsa then forced an ambulance coming from the junction with full blues and twos going to brake heavily and swerve around it as the Corsa driver did an emergency stop as soon as they left the yellow box thingy.

Why go onto the yellow box thingy in the first place?? The Corsa driver saw the ambulance but chose to try to beat it across the yellow box rather than wait.

This morning one of your staff nearly drove into my car twice whilst I was at the traffic lights waiting to turn right into station road. They appeared to think it was ok to force their way into stationary traffic to reverse manoeuvre a vehicle onto the forecourt when there was cleary ample room to carry this out on the forecourt itself, I'm sure He thinks he excellent driver but it was quite a hair raising experience and just came over as arrogant and antagonistic. I hope your well insured for this kind of thing as its bound to end in tears.

General moan about people who trundle along slip roads onto the M6 at 30 miles an hour.... very dangerous trying to nudge into a busy motorway when you're eyes are glued to the idiot in front doing 30 and you haven't got the speed when you do need to move over.
