I changed mine from Pacman, cos my Pacman one was pissing me off, frankly. Swapped to a cute Elmo one - which Im sure has a very limited life expectancy as well.

Let him hang around for a while, all three of my boys have experienced the gurgling, vibrating, joy that is a cuddle me Elmo. (the original, not the nouveau hi-tech' version).

Ours is still going strong, and he never fails to bring a smile to my face.

And of course Sesame Street and the Children's Workshop are icons of the 20th Century and to be lauded at every available opportunity!

Haha me too :) Ive got one of the original tickle-me-Elmos, and I still get a kick out of him :D My ex bought him for my 19th birthday. Considering I turn 30 at the end of the year, its amazing that theyve been around so long, and are still so popular that he's had a few revamps along the way (the latest being Elmo TMX or whatever it was called. Sorry, but there really is no substitute for the original :) )
