No objections from SCC highways, really? Fairway isn't actually free flowing, with all the extra parked car thanks to the new Entrust building. (Fancy not providing space for employees doh)

St Leanards ave also free flowing traffic, not. Lichfield Road, say no more.

New access road to SBC's Stafford Town FC Ground.

As a result of a change in National Planning Policy, the Highways Dept can only object if the development will cause significant highway problems.

I'm on annual leave at the moment but as soon as I get back i will type a letter to the Woodland Trust and attach a copy of the site to get their advice about the trees.

It's now GE
I am well aware of that as I work on that site. I was just referring to the fact that the plans were submitted and stayed under the name of the previous owners and stayed that way. Now ownership has changed, will they change it before we move? Not being impertinent, just factual.

Would have thought so

Didn't St. Modwen acquired the site from Alstom prior to their sale of the T and D business in 2004, then rented the site back to Areva, now GE?
Alstom bought back the Lichfield site from St Modwen

I always thought one of the big sites was owned by a little old man. ...

I'm sure that it was owned by St Modwen. Not sure about the current arrangement.

I think the little old man owns the Queensville site by the railway.

I'm sure it has an official title....

Unfortunately my objections made no difference. The planning application has been approved and they will go ahead and destroy the woodland to build 200 houses on it. Stafford is destroying its countryside and wildlife to house commuters.
