The sign was lit on Saturday, when there appeared to be no supplies available for sale.
I shall have the pleasure of informing him he has got that totally wrong (again) then . :D

Reading elsewhere that it does have supplies there this morning , but saying they have banged the prices up..

Ahhhhh if only everyone wasn't so lazy and could walk for 30 mins if able too, I know i do for a hour each way.

Obviously that's not the case for everyone, some people generally can't or actually have to travel a distance.

Far too many cars in this town though it's a nightmare, surprised we don't have to wear masks for air polution suppose after more houses go up.. give it a year or 2 probably worse traffic than in city's !

Edit was in a rush,,,

I make my shopping trips part of my daily walk , unless it's really heavy stuff impossible for me to carry (although I have been know to be idiot enough to struggle carrying a hoover and microwave up to the far end of Wildwood from the retail park ).

Had a walk down to Aldi to get milk very late yesterday afternoon , thinking it would be quieter at that time, and was surprised the vast amount of traffic around . Wondered where they were all going , then got into Aldi to find it more packed than usual. Didn't think too much of it until I got home , then read a comment about the Worcester Aldi resembling the start of the first lockdown.....maybe not the best of timing for my running our freezer and cupboards right down, planning to re-stock after the hols.

A few posts under my belt
Yesterday I went to Stafford Tip
I was there for approximately 20 minutes ,whilst there a white van was unloading a large amount of rubbish. He was still there when I left and still had his diesel engine idling

I've been a fuel wanker this evening. Had 15 miles left on the tank, so dashed off to Asda, They were only letting you have a max of £30. Thought sod it, i'll top up at Tescos, that seemed to be up to a max of £99.
Rang work to let those heading home know, then shot round the corner here to me lads and told him. He ummed and arrred so long I thought they'dve sold out. But we went back to Tescos and filled up his little Fiesta. We both have hosi appointments next week so can't afford not to top up.

You aren't a fuel wanker if you actually need it.
Ooooh I do love you!
Youngest has to go back the eye hospital in Brum and Daughter in Laws niece has go Stoke, so the fuel is really needed.
There was a bloke at Tescos, pulled up in a red car, no idea what flavour it was. He got out the left side, oooh thinks me, a left hand drive car! No. He was the passenger, got 2 green plastic petrol containers out the boot and filled them up. He looked ashamed of himself when he saw me watching him.

People filling up petrol containers are definitely fuel wankers. Why can't people take what they need and not be selfish wankers?!

I've got 100 miles in my car, which should last me until the end of next week. Hopefully, all the selfish, idiotic behaviour will have stopped by then.

Well said someone I know got called a idiot @ Lammascote garage by the staff member working, for filling up... he needs it for work and had hardly any left..

just gobsmacked

My thoughts are with those that don't need the extra stress etc and dealing with issues or stress as it is!

I've just seen a video clip of the lines at Lammascote garage at 11pm tonight.
If every person queueing is desperate I'm an alien!!
And if I'm an alien I'm going back to my own planet going by what I've seen!!

Wonder if she's given up calling people idiots then, I mean she has a point for some people I guess.

My wife has a trip to Womborne today so I have have done the legwork for fuel at 5am today. All garages bar Lammascote road are dry (haven't checked Tesco express as it was going to be last on the route home). Put 30 in as that was their limit. Queues had formed at the point I had left.
