A FANCY dress shop dummy of Colonel Gaddafi failed to raise a laugh when police asked the owner to remove it after receiving complaints.

The dummy held a sign which read: "You ain't seen me, right" outside the Party Shop in Ecclesall, Sheffield. Boss Peter Tooley said: "I think it's funny, I can't imagine why anyone would complain."

Police said it was a "sensitive issue".

I hate it when people just leave a completely irrelevant comment :P

Seriously though get a grip people - if you're old enough to understand who Gaddafi is then you should be mature enough to deal with this.

Not sure how it was irrelevant. toooldtorock did something, and Hetairoi commented on it; it's the very definition of "relevance"! :P

I have reprimanded John Marwood et al for simply posting links with no content before, so it's only fair that I do it here too. I have edited the original post to include a quote from the linked news story, to provide some context. :)
