Hello:))

Well, after a long time viewing this forum, I decided that I ought to register and contribute, as I've picked up a lot of useful information from you all - thanks!

Lived in Stafford for about 15 years now, not sure how that happened really as I only intended to stay for 2 - must be all the friendly people around the place!?

Looking forward to joining in on some of the topics...

Hi Dabbler, welcome to the forum! Always good to see a forum lurker sign up and take part.

In my experience of the town, many leave, most return!

What do skill points mean? Is there a reward and how do I award them?

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Newbie.

Welcome to the forum from a fellow Newbie.
Skill points are given/taken by clicking the Skill/Cuffy in the bottom right-hand corner of a post from the person you want to give a point to/take one from.

They have little significance in the real world...

Yep welcome Dabbler; he's not wrong you know! Moved to Sheffield, Scarborough & Rochdale, but when it came to raising a family, I could think of no better place! and the call of Ford & the Snoozeletter was too great to resist!

Thanks all for the welcome (& for the skill point!!). Looks like I'm going to enjoy myself here..!

Moved here for work originally, and even though my work now can take me anywhere in the country, I don't think we would ever consider moving away (OK then, if we won a fortune on the lottery, maybe we'd buy somewhere in an exotic place, but otherwise).

Hi Dabbler!

I'm secretly a little bit of a Stafford fan myself. I'm one of those dreaded students (agghhh!).
Moved here nearly 3 years ago, met a Stafford girl not too long ago and have now just launched my company in the town.

Happy to be here.
Thankyou to all the true Staffordians for having me!

Hello Dabbler. Glad to know you stayed in Stafford. I have lived here longer than my home town and don't know whether to say I'm a Staffordian or a Wulfrunian
