House prices - what is wrong with this place?

Looking at houses around here for a workmate, and came across this:

Is it just me, or is that too cheap? I know its not the best area but it seems very good value. Must be something wrong.

A friend looked at it, he said despite appearances it needs quite a bit of work. As there's no upward chain I'd suggest it's a repossesion and the bank are just trying to get back their outlay as well, hence the price.

Terraced. No garage. No offroad parking. Double glazing? What is the EPC rating? All of these can change the price.

I have my house for sale if you want to have a look... and anybody else that is interested. We are emigrating as soon as the VISA is issued and the house is sold. Will also sell it furnished if the timing is right.

You will find that house prices are showing no rhyme or reason with smaller houses selling for more and bigger houses being given away. Very confusing market.

Looks nice, shame theres no floorplan though. Is always the first thing I look for, I want to know how all these pictures fit together. Like the stuffed iguana in the third bedroom :)

nice garden! exactly how i'd want it - lots of space for BBQs and general dicking about, but a nice, uniform shape with no faffy shrubbery so it's easy to look after.. nice looking kitchen as well..

i'll give you £20 for the lot, as long as you chuck in the spongebob squarepants and the cuddly reptiles :D

Again, no floorplan. Is it just me that wants to know about the layout? When house hunting I always paid more attention to those with plans, as I actually thought about how the house 'worked'. This made them stick in my memory more, ones with just a few pics were quickly forgotten unless they stood out for another reason. As it was I purchased a place that had no plans anyway, but thats besides the point!
