Can't you do it yourself. Should be dead easy if you're basically shaving it all off.
A ban has been imposed due to the last bloodbath. No cuts for months and then one, and it was pretty bad. I have only really been taking it down to skin over the last year but I like going to the barbers as they get the job done better and quicker.
I think that the young trendy guys in The Hair Shop, (and even the lovely older guy) have enough experience and training to do what you require.
However, you’d probably pay about three to four times as much as a barber would charge so I can see why you want to keep searching.
Can't help but remember a similar conversation whilst at college many years ago when the topic of hairdresser/Barber costs came up..
Our tutor said to us "I don't know what the fuss is, I go to see Les and he does me for a fiver"...
My immature mind fuelled by the Mary Whitehouse Experience immediately responded "yes but how much does he charge to cut your hair'....
If give Golden Cuts a miss in Mill Street. Walked past this morning and although all the barbers were wearing masks, of the seven others in there, only two were masked up.
Seriously, a grade 1 over the bath works wonders every 2 weeks & a lot cheaper & more convenient than paying some bearded hipster a tenner. It’s worked for me for near on 20 years.
P. S. I just ignore the laughter as I walk down the street.
FG Man made me wear a mask when I had my hair cut. The barber also wore one.
Same at Holmcroft barbers according to the carer.
Thanks all. I am shorn currently but will be pressing my nose against windows in 2 weeks time.
Hubby has been having my barbering services , armed with his shaver with clipper attachment , since lockdown began. Causes a few arguments when my attempts to " blend it in properly" don't quite go as well as the couple of flukes when it looked perfect.
Couple of disasters when he' s literally got his hair off...grabs it off me and does a strip himself with the wrong side resulting in the rest having to be removed on Grade '0'
2 weeks !! what are you a werewolf ?
Just to give an update, had my haircut at Top Gent Barbers in Penkridge. Mask worn on entering shop, contact details taken, temp taken, plastic apron provided. Staff wear disposable apron, gloves and also a mask and visor. You have to keep your mask on during hair cut. They move your mask strap when doing round your ears. £12 a cut
Bald man hiding in plain sight. Have to keep it down to nothing.
Thanks. I don’t mind travelling or indeed paying more for businesses that do what they can to keep patrons safe.
