Our very own Staffordian DJ Ray Crowther has been sacked from Signal Radio
Apparently his bosses said that he was not a team player for supporting a rival charity. What a load of old rubbish. See the newsletter page 12 for full story.

Partially agree Miss T
The water street bit is from the doctors to the Nags Head so no great shakes there, but I think you'll still be able to drive past the college/market

'Under the proposals Water Street would also become a one-way road' .

So I'm assuming this would mean you couldn't drive past the college and round onto Mill Street?

Can't see too many problems with that, though can't see too many problems with how it flows now.
You obviously haven't driven a bus round there!

The best bit will be NO cars going past Chicago Rock which will mean no traffic delays for us buses until we get onto the Lichfield Road at least. The traffic will have to go somewhere though and the Newport Road and Station Road will be just that "stationary"

Gotta say, this council wastes some flippin money when the general state of Stafford's existing streets are a general eyesore and an embarressment for a county town - yes they are minging

The Deputy Mayor of Delhi has had an unfortunate encounter.

First saw this on the BBC News 24 ticker late last night, and had to wait for it to come back round again due to disbelief.
