They're not even doing well because they see the benefit of it other than a few slices of pizza?! What is that teaching them?

Bah sod it, I got my education anyway, really couldn't give a toss about future generations, they don't so why should anyone else?

That's a bit of a harsh generalisation, isn't it?
e.g.

As for offering free food, it's a great way to get people to turn up for anything - and if it helps them to fulfill their potential then all the better. (I am a big fan of free food, so I may be biased.)

Yeah fair point its a bit of a generalisation. I'll happily admit that I didn't take education seriously at school or even realised how important it was and as a result forfieted a place at Cambridge University. 5 years on I really wish I hadn't messed up my A's.

Unfortunately there is a broad sense that being cool and being clever are mutually exclusive and this is one thing that needs to be changed in the education system. I for one don't agree with bribery related performance.

i still buy a daily paper, but i don't know why because they enrage me more and more every day.. it seems that every news story is just an attempt to create controversy where there is none.. every TV show is fixed, everybody famous is a racist, and everyone in the UK is offended by anything anyone has ever said ever, apparently..
