Serves him right, i'm fed up of fag ends, chewing gum, foodstuffs/wrappers littering my environment. Another pet hate of mine is the selfish sods who fling lighted fag ends from car windows. I say lets give advance warning that there is going to be a blitz on these couldn't careless twats and then hit the f'"$kers hard and if that means draconian fines then so be it.......

I can't believe that he has reported this to the cops! Why didn't they issue him with a genuine penalty? They describe the 'offender' as white - which one are they talking about? The litter-lout or the vigilante who kept the £80 he got for doing the job of an Enforcement Officer for free?

Presumably the con-man. Good on him, I say! I hope he never gets caught and carries on issuing his fake fines - he deserves it if it teaches people a lesson...

I have never known the litter laws to be enforced by the Enforcement Officers that we pay, so let's have them enforced by 'unofficial' enforcers and let them collect the fines that the official enforcers wouldn't have bothered to collect....

Seems fair enough to me.

lol this is a odd one. You feel you should be on the side of the victim and persecute the offender but oddly its the other way round. Bit like making a citizens arrest i suppose. Maybe its something we all should be allowed to do, no one would dare put a foot worng if you thought the 10 or more people around you were all going to demand an £80 on the spot fine if you dropped littler, swore, got drunk and disordely...
