There is a possible suspect visible on Google earth to the NNE of the house, just before the river. That's the only likely thing that I can see that is on the right sort of scale ( ~50m dia. ). It could be a collapsed ancient tree that might actually look more like a load of bushes rather than one really giant tree. Must go and have a look one day.

That's the one. It can be seen in a few Panoramia pictures. It would be easy to not notice it as a giant single tree.

2m does not a decent club make.

but the additional jobs for the town during the revamp work and as part of the running cant be a bad thing.
i don't get the whole "over-25s upstairs, under-20s downstairs" thing.. will they be separated by bricks and mortar, or will there be a door and once you're in you can go where you like, regardless of age?

i remember when fattys was separate to the rest of the bag and that was over 21s only downstairs....not that it stopped us from getting in mind! lol

unless they only have one entrance per floor and seal up the connecting can they keep it all separate....but then im sure that would have massive implications with fire regs.

I love this article

He added: “What is lawful is appropriate.â€
Asked why he lived in clubs rather than his own flat, he said: “I just didn’t and that’s all there is to it. I was nomadic at the time. It was around the time I was moving between two places and I was moving around.â€

Nigel Griffiths, the Labour MP, defended a £3,600 claim for a television in his second home in London by insisting that he had to listen to “Scottish radio†and watch “Scottish TVâ€.

As noted elsewhere, as a result of some anomaly, I have been watching RTÉplayer - can I claim for that?

although it would appear that mr kidney may have a few issues too.
I'd love to tell my 2 David Kidney stories, but I fear that they may land me in court :(
But the gists are: don't upset anyone with a very similar telephone number to your office number, and don't tell a big fat porkie when someone can prove that its untrue.

David Kidney said: "I immediately contacted the Fees Office and they have confirmed to me that they made mistakes and they have apologised to me for their errors." - if this is true then it's (almost) fair enough, but I think I'ld spot a few grand being squirted into my account fairly quickly.

Similar phone numbers - I once lived in a place where the phone number was an anagram of the Chase Warden's. We regularly got calls at all hours. I remember one time when some slighlty inebriated driver rang us up at three in the morning to say that they'd hit a deer and they were told that, if it was still alive, they were to give it the kiss of life and take it to A&E. I often wonder what happened.

Great, now it turns out we'll give them a nice fat payout for having to leave office. Fooking brilliant, this REALLY sends out the right message.

I can't say what I'd like to do to them, because if/when it happens it may land me in court.

Gotta admire the balls on Cash

He said: "I don't believe there was any financial advantage to be gained because I would have had to have had rented accommodation in some other place where I would have paid, possibly, an even higher rate."
You paid your daughters mortgage with taxpayer money you retard, of course that is a finacial advantage! And you own a house near Westminster anyway, use that. Cock.

Any journalists feel free to qoute that out of context, as long as you call him a cock....
