There were TV cameras (ITV Central) outside at about 1:30 yesterday but I missed the ITV Central News so don't know what they were filming.

andy still cant walk properly due to balance problems .7 months on and he is still suffering surely these people should be made to wait and suffer like andy is untill he has made a full recovery which at this rate will not be for a while.

I'm a firm believer in do unto others, the victim (or family if murder) should be allowed retribution in kind. Shame I don't trust the justice system to always make the right decisions.

I understand that 'burning at the stake' was considered a particularly Christian way to put someone to death as was considered un-Christian to do it in a way which drew blood.

A friend of mine was working in Saudi Arabia some years ago and got talking to the local chap he was working with about places they'd both been. They had both been to the Philipines and the Saudi chap, who was a very minor member of the extended Royal family, revealed why he had been there - twice. His brother had been there on business and was killed during an attempted robbery in his hotel room. So the surviving brother got straight on a plane to Manila and hired some 'detectives' to apprehend the perpetrators. Within a couple of days they had captured two of the four who were believed to have done it - so he shot them both. He left the 'detctives' with enough cash to be going on with and instructions to catch the other two, but not to kill them under any circumstances. They were to contact him and keep them captive until he arrived and payed them the rest of the money - whatever it cost. Six months later he got a call and organised a few days off for the trip. A couple of weeks later he arrived in Manila again, gave the 'detectives' the final payment and then shot the two remaining captives. Then he got on the plane home....

Presumably they were the right four.....

I have been unable to find out if your wishes have been granted, although I suspect not. Tomorrow may bring more information, maybe...

They're young, they'll get a community order or a suspended sentence or something.

Whatever it is, unless the perpetrators spend the rest of their life doing agonising hard labour then they will have got off lightly :(
