Incident by Stafford gaol?

I'm not saying we should kill them, just not sustain them.

Anyone wish to give me millions millions of pounds on the chance that one day I may possibly cure cancer. It's a pretty high risk investment I admit, but anyone?

But how do you know we are sustaining them?

Sorry, i must stop now. Due process 'n' all. I promised myself i wouldn't interject for just that reason so i will now listen to myself.

Do you honestly think that any of them work, or that their parents work?

If so then you're naive.

Their back in court on 27th July...why do these things take so long?
lol have you ever been to court? generally they spend 1/3 of the time on a break, 1/3 of the time changing between cases and 1/3 of the time actually doing some work, which they do slowly. I've lost track of the number of days I have lost waiting around to give 10 minutes of evidence and just been astounded at the general lack of activity.

not to mention its difficult to afford too many judges when you pay them £100k upwards.

Are you in the legal proffession or maybe a serial witness?..........

I used to be an insurance fraud investigator, I had to give evidence quite a bit for the larger cases. It was a ball ache and not a profession I'm going to return to in a hurry!

I'm a project manager these days, more action less sitting around letting life pass you by. Would be nice to have just a little more free time though!

what? what on earth are you basing this on?

i think this kid is a spanner of the highest order, but how on earth can you make such sweeping assumptions about his entire family and their lifestyle just because he's a dickhead?? for all you know, his parents might be just the type of sweaty-faced, middle-class, conservative-voting capitalists that you would love, and his behaviour is as a result of some kind of childish rebellion.. you call withnail naïve, when clearly you're being naïve to think that such broad generalisations can ever work..

edit: and i just know this post is going to come back to bite me on the arse next time i make a broad, sweeping generalisation.. which, knowing me, will probably be within the next 10 minutes or so :v:

not defending this udall chap at all, because he's scum, but...

from reading his facebook, it would seem that his side of the story is that he was simply present during the beating and, because of the aforementioned scummery, did nothing to intervene:

i realise a lot of the above is difficult to understand, but you get the jist..

now, i need to re-iterate that i am not excusing his behaviour or inaction, i was just wanting to make the point that if the above is true, then that would explain why he "av gon not gilty" and "calloms gon gilty on every thin"..

that being the case, i'm glad the other fella, callum, is pleading guilty.. i hope he has an horrendous time in prison and comes out a broken man..

I wrote this as some friendly advice a while back..

"As already mentioned these comments help nobody and can hinder the whole process of justice

As with any case that is likely to result in a sentence of more than 6 months imprisonment the trial would be at a Crown Court in front of jury who should be without any pre-judgement

As there have been charges brought there are legal limitations on what may now be published, including the internet."

Quoting what may have or may not have been said is a very dangerous thing to do at this stage or any stage between charges being brought and a judgement and or sentence and I would advise strongly against publishing or republishing such material again

This can not only prejudice a fair trial but also can result in contempt charges being brought against anyone who publishes or republishes such material including the 'owners' of this forum

I am happy to bow down to your superiority JM if you know more than me and I 100% don't want these "people" getting away with this if the above affects the case... but how can repeating something that is in the public domain affect the case?

i hope they all get rogered in prison, standing there and doing nothing is just as bad. i'd be inclined to suggest that callum did what he did because his mates were egging him on, and he was showing off/had something to prove. i literally couldn't give a monkey's about him not laying a finger on salty (allegedly) he stood by and let it happen. we you not all taught in school that allowing bullying is as good as being as bully? same applies here IMO.

i'll be disappointed if they don't get a kicking on the way back out of prison.

In the meantime, quoting publicly available information isn't going to bear any relevance whatsoever on the trial - they're still all going to get away with it - capital punishment was ruled out years ago.

Also did i see in there that Hazen quote he was going back to the shit hole? presumably prison. rehabilitation works wonders, eh?

"In the meantime, quoting publicly available information isn't going to bear any relevance whatsoever on the trial "

Incorrect

Once a case goes to committal to the crown court you can only report these basic facts

the charges

names and ages of defendants

names if witnesses ( only if disclosed in court )

bail and adjournment details

Nothing else - including what may have been 'reported' previously and heresay

The internet is considered 'reporting'
