Knitting,Sewing, Crafts etc

Hi,

Im new to the frum and this is my first post im just wondering if anyone is interested in the above or knows
of any clubs that run currently. im 22 and love the idea of a sort of cool young WI kind of thing for like minded girls.

Hello there - the second Saturday in June turns out to be World-wide Knit in Public Day, so you're just in time.

Alternatively ask at the market stalls that sell wool and suchlike. A search of the web has returned nothing that seemed likely to be of any use.

I'm not aware of any groups but I'd be shocked if there isn't any knitting groups out there locally.

Someone I know well (who unfortunatley isn't local or I'd put you in touch) does a lot of knitting etc.. and is in a knitting groups. She seems to track people down through the internet (as her friends think it's 'dorky' too) she raves on about Ravelry quite a lot so I would suggest that would be a site worth joining.

Etsy also (more crafts) is a good place to go join as well if your into crafts and you may well be able to track down like minded local people that way too.
