The bent bits with the holes in are the actual tools - note different sized holes - the rectangular tubes are accesories to help maintain them in peak condition.

Is that a Moomin?
It does look similair to the fitting kit you get with laminate flooring to block and wedge them together. I'm guessing thats also not right though.

Closer - they are for use with wood.

Missed this last night. You are, indeed, correct - they are Veritas cornering tools, used for producing four different radii on the corners of timber pieces. The square tubes with the rounded corners are used with the abrasive paper to resharpen them as necessary.

I know, but i cheated, having saw your other challenges, i cheated on them too - didn't think it was right to post an answer as i thought somebody might be sharp enough to get the picture legitimately.
