Leave or Remain?

Wash your mouth out. We are the UK we don’t believe in unions or protecting members interests.
We did once, and one can't help thinking that we have somewhat 'coasted' on it since
We proved unions that looks after their members interests were only for the feeble minded when Thatcher broke them.
We knew then that manufacturing and traditional industries were doomed and that services were the future and so the conservatives pressed ahead with and forged the single market.
It is not without irony that we survey a Conservative Party blaming the Continent for its manufacturing death, whilst being the architect of it

Now our glorious leaders have realised that our 80% service based economy is as perilous as our manufacturing was. We need to embrace WTO to destroy this sector as well.
Come now, have you so little faith in 'our' negotiating team that they'll completely f**k up some kind of miraculous deal on free trade with our European partners? We have 'DD' 'batting' for the team - what could possibly go wrong?
Rejoice and embrace the opportunities which await you, I’m sure a true believer will be along soon and point out all the opportunities.
I'm waiting...

Ah but the Brexiteer plan is so cunning. A truly cunning plan is not to have a plan at all.

Cunning, or some other word begining with cun?

Not having a plan is the last thing those unelected beurocrats in Brussels will expect of us, giving us the upper hand!

I love how the Daily Heil is getting worked up about this purely because it puts the deal partially in the hands of parliament, so the DM and co. don't have nearly as much control over it as they would have if it was just May and her goons.

They're not upset parliament get a say, they're upset that it diluted their influence.

I love the fact they are upset that the actually elected British government get a say in it, wasn't that why we took back control?

According to our fearless leader, 'The government is proving the doubters wrong'

That statement is 100% correct, well apart from the last word which should be spelled r i g h t....

How soon will the real treacherous be realised, as in Gove, Fox, Johnson, Davis etc .

Who might really believe that they do not have selfish, sponsored agenda?

Only gullible fools probably......

It is interesting that this has received prominence in the Mail as well as the Torygraph.

Albeit the MoS which, as readers of the Eye will know, is constantly at war with its Daily counterpart.

One can't help concluding that this is a genuine shift - a Cameronian *nudge* if you will - to ease us in to...

... what?

I don't think we can not Leave, but think that we can manage our withdrawal.

This will not suit everybody.

In fact it will suit nobody.

But it doesn't really have to suit anybody for long, because...

How soon will the real *traitors* be *unmasked*, as in Gove, Fox, Johnson, Davis etc ......
Soon enough.

The very fact that they are beginning to have the Mail and the Torygraph stacked against them means that they'll be back in the backbencherbox quicker than you can say lickedyspit.

It is already over.

Whether this is a good thing or not, i will pass over to our local correspondents @andy w , @Roland , @kyoto49 etc

Dimbleby; (taps desk with pencil) 'now Basil why is Farage not on your list of traitors'?

Basil; 'well as unpleasant as he is, he only a puppet'

Dimbleby; (taps nose with pencil) 'so are you saying someone was using him'?

Basil; 'well he's clearly a one trick pony with no substance to offer beyond the bluster'

Dimbleby; (scratches ear with pencil) 'yet a large number of people like what he has to say'

Basil; 'sanity is not statistical David'

Dimbleby; (sniffs pencil) 'well that's all we have time for, next week Question Time will be broadcast from The Bird in Hand Snug, goodnight'
