Leave or Remain?

Getting confused over this transition period lark. From what I can gather it's nearly 2 years where we still get the good bits but remove the right to settle from any new EU immigrants, at least according to May?

Gonna make a wild guess here and predict she backs down, either they'll still have full rights or we'll make a big concession elsewhere.

What happens to people with holiday homes abroad? Technically you could be barred from visiting, realistically it could become more hassle/expensive to visit.

What is it we need from the US that will be cheaper than from the EU, even after trade tariffs are applied? And how will free trade affect our own businesses, if the USA can undercut them? No point everything being cheap if we're all unemployed.

I just don't get any of this anymore. Free trade only helps if you are a net exporter, the UK is service based, it's in our interests to impose trade tariffs to protect the few British manufacturing jobs we have left surely?

Am I missing something? What is it we want from the trade deals we're so desperate to strike on our own? Consumers need to earn before they can consume, without money to spend free trade is irrelevant!

Assessments of the "likely impact". London might be OK.
