Apparently the dinosaurs appointed a stegosaurus as an official 'risk assessor.' He made plans for all the nasty stuff going on back then, but even so, he overlooked the possibility of a huge incoming rock.
It goes without saying that he got the sack !! Or at least he would have if they could have found something left over to sack. :lorks:

I'll round it off by saying that this has been an invaluable life lesson in learning the value of reading the terms & conditions when people spaff terms like 'regain the destiny' at you.

Invariably these people will be ultimately untrustworthy, and the terms & conditions they espouse be illusory.

It's like that episode of the Simpsons where Skinner and Krabappel are passing notes via Bart and even Martin is scoring off him.

We have given up our scoring rights, man.

That is how far we have gone, we are now Martin where once we were Bart.

We won't get it back - 'Cool Brittania' is now no more.

TBF arguably it never was, but c'mon, we're pretty cool aren't we?

We had a unique position that was predicated entirely on us being the cool kids at the back of the bus.

Now the rest of the bus looks back and sees Jacob Cream Cracker at the back and *thinks* well i could whoop his ass good 'n' proper.

He ain't no cool kid, like, at ALL.

We were Dennis the Menace, now we are Walter.

You simply cannot get this shit back - it's gone.

It's like watching a Mandelbrot Fractal being generated. No matter how long or at what scale you examine it, it just keeps repeating itself … down into infinity (whatever that is.) Somebody needs to nudge the needle … (with a lump hammer.) :eek:
