There are now queries as to how long Britain will survive, whatever the Brexit outcome. Strictly speaking the wrong question as I cannot see the island of Great Britain breaking into several fragments nor the islands of the Normandy Archipelago (aka British Isles) drifting apart. What it should ask is how long the United Kingdom will survive intact after Brexit. Can almost guarantee though that the last people calling themselves British will be the DUP and their ilk in Northern Island

As a Flat Earther, that is funny I can't deny. But it is a typical spherical argument.
(By the way, did I mention. I sell bacofoil hats guaranteed to prevent alien abduction. Never had a complaint yet.) :heyhey:

The real criminal is the state, not those who save lives. Sea rescue is not a crime

Who could possibly have foreseen that?

Send out Chris Grayling with a blowlamp, a bottle of Dettol and a paint brush - sorted.

It's like watching a Laurel and Hardy film isn't it ? …. without any of the laughs. Come to think of it, I offer my apologies to Stan and Olly for the comparison. :o

I never found Laurel and Hardy funny, so it's just like a Laurel and Hardy film as far as I'm concerned.

My guess is the investigation wont even begin to reveal the fat brown envelopes that have been passed around on this one. Even the colossal sum of £33 million is but a fraction I suspect. All our money by the way. Congratulations Brexiteers, you opened the door for every f****** conman on the block .. and then some.

I think it was Abraham Lincoln who said: "If you want to test a man's character, give him power."
Quite a bit of 'test failing' going on at the moment Abe …:?:

I have seen it stated that Grayling has spent 2.7 billion for no visible return.

There is no quality control and they know that.

Clearly he doesn't have to go through all that annual 'Performance Related Report' shit that's become popular over the last few decades. (Sample question from the assessment interview: :) )
Assessor: "So what is your target for the next year ?"
Me: "To keep the ship going."
Assessor: "And ?"
Me: "Well I'd like to make it go faster than light, and open up new trade routes to the Andromeda Galaxy. But you bean counter types wont give me the budget."
Assessor: "F*** off Sparky! "
(In all fairness the Assessor was a Captain who thought this was all complete bollocks the same as me, but he had to do it.)

Must assume Grayling is his own budget controller. :heyhey:
