Oh no :( I use that one a lot as it's a bit nearer than the town branch when I'm walking, and can park right outside if in the car.

That's the one I always use. Far more convenient.

Shame. We use the cash point there pretty frequently as it's very convenient for the hockey club, especially with the parking

Well I guess it's our own fault for not utilising it fully. I tend to use the Lichfield road branch because it is so convenient.

Enjoying a drop of red.
I always use the Lichfield Road branch, can't stand the one in town. Guess I'll be changing bank now then, to something internet based.

We used to have a lloyds joint account then it got farmed out to tsb so we closed it... Shame the Lichfield road branch is closing especially as they didn't do much on it being refurbished a few years ago....

Frankly I am surprised it has lasted as long as it has. It was originally opened to service the staff of the mighty English Electric, in the days when EE employed half the town and for many it was the only option on leaving school. Those heady days are long gone, but somehow the bank has staggered on, with a new manager appointed only a couple of months ago.

Some of my bank accounts are with Lloyds and I have always used that branch, to avoid the necessity of going into the town, with all the driving and parking headaches that creates.

Yet another business following in the fine tradition of Stafford, i.e. closing.

I take it you've never been in there when people are queuing out of the door waiting to get served or when people are outside the front door waiting for it to open.

No I haven't. I don't do queues.

I don't go in that often, I do most of my banking online.

Clearly most other people do too, which is why they are closing branches, so they claim.
