Yeah I noticed he's been pushing it across Facebook for them. Fair play. Looks quite an inviting shop in all fairness so I'll probably try them. Easy parking too.

Statement of affairs with form 4.19

Employee Claims - Preferential 12,712.47
Employee Claims - Unsecured 133,867.08
Directors' Loan Account 333,900.00
Associated Creditors 25,600.00
Trade & Expense Creditors 293,660.00
HM Revenue & Customs - PAYE / NIC 14,673.00

etc.

Company Creditors - 36 Entries Totalling 836,761.20

They appear to have enough assets to pay the preferential employee claims. Not sure why or whose employee claims would be unsecured.

(I've read that directors can charge interest on any money loaned to the company.) I don't know whether the loans were included in the previous year's financial statement but total debt seems to have increased by about the same amount - 351,602.

Well the guy who went into the market didn't last 2 weeks! I heard he wasn't even taking enough to cover the rent.
Very tough for small shops to compete with the supermarkets.

The thing with the market stall though was they had many deliveries to businesses so they could keep it open and yes a lot of small businesses can't compete with bigger stores they are killing them off. It's all to do with convince People park at supermarkets and buy everything they need from one place no need to shop else where the only thing that keeps small shops going is the regulars and the older generation of customers
