Mobile Hairdresser in Stafford

Hi All

Hoping someone can give some recommendations as to a mobile hairdresser.....was not overly impressed by how much my usual hairdresser wanted to charge to cut my 4 year old daughters hair!

Would need to be someone how is friendly and willing to adapt to our home situation as my daughter is physically disabled and can spasm without warning and is quite fidgety too so it would have to be a quick cut lol.

I always go to Pelo at the back of the Guildhall, they cut my daughters hair for £5 and charge a middleish rate for me (more than super cuts and less than toni and guy) although not mobile!

I have a 'friend' on facebook that has just started up on her own doing mobile hairdressing and other bits and bobs although I don't know her very well and have never used her.

Let me know if you want her details though, she may well be worth a go!

I wouldn't go to Supercuts! Just before Christmas I had waist length hair and decided I wanted the lot off,went to supercuts,told the girl exactly how I wanted my hair cut,sat down and put myself in her hands. It would've been better if i'd used the black n decker on it. She cut it short as I'd asked,but totally went against everything else I asked for. I'm not the sort to make a massive fuss about things,so I sat there and stayed silent,as you do.£40 down the pan,all I could do was smile and say thank you. Since been told they aren't all qualified in the shop,i'll stick to me sister and the cup of tea she normally has off me.

Sorry to potentially veer off topic, but is there a link between Pelo the Hairdressers and Pelo the Band?

Only that they both chose a name on the basis it's Spanish for 'hair'.

Yep, welcome Sophie.pocock1; don't need my hair cutting, but now you have found this place, don't be a stranger. There a few 'odd bods' lurking about in the darker recesses of the forum. :rolleyes: Don't let them put you off. Tis a invaluable source of info' about the county town, (& other stuff). You might not feel like posting. I hope you do! but IMO its worth coming on to find out about stuff, not always easily available elsewhere, or ask questions about virtualy anyfin', the stupider! ;)

Talking 'bout "odd bods", you won't need three guesses, who one of the biggest is! Ed

Hi and Welcome Sophie. In my job I spend alot of time with the old folks in their homes and occasionally get asked about mobile hairdressers. Can you PM me with costs and contact details as all the other local ones I know already are full and are not taking on more clients.

This is what is needed do you have a price list that you can pm me, unless you want to post live on the forum this means the wife is not sat in the salon for hours just waiting in home visit's is what stafford needs I have been pestering a friend from stoke.
