Anyone been in yet?

I've heard not even those from Morrison's head office, want to go in.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
It looks to me as though it's not being fitted out at all. There is never any activity around the place whenever I go past.

The supermarket building that no one wants...

As I went past today I was wondering what they are doing with it, the car park is usable the shop is done, such a shame.

Would it be insane to suggest opening the carpark (and it being free to park) whilst a (ANY!!) decision is made?

Insane?

What if they open the carpark and it free to park there, whilst a decision is made to the ouitcome of this very large building?

Istill miss the soddin' trees that chopped down, for this.

I don't like the Morrissons development at all. I was hoping I might warm to it, but no. It still looks cheap and bland!

We can do so much better than this.

Wasn't it the same developer behind the Riverside development that has built the Morrisons one? I can't see them opening up the car park for free and upsetting their clients who have the multi story at Riverside.
Anyway, free parking in the town centre? That's only allowed on Sundays, Christmas Day and 2 Saturday afternoons before Christmas for some reason.

For what its worth when I went to have look last Thursday or Friday afternoon from north walls there was a whole hive of activity.

Just as they were finishing the white lines on the car park about a dozen men got out of a posh looking, windows blacked out type transit van, most of them in suits. some went into the build some outside looking around then a cherry picker was brought round and a couple went up to where maybe signage would be. Couldn't tell what they were doing maybe measuring but that a guess

The kicker is, one of the men in a shirt and tie did have a fleece with the morrisons logo on the back.

the planning for morrisons to sell achohol on site finished on the 13th July. Anyone know if SBC granted a licence ?

I guess I will let that one play out and let the conspiracies start ; 0
