Mango is unfortunately showing more and more signs of eye problems, pretty sure it's PRA. Genetically this poor thing didn't really win at life, but we'll do our best to make sure she's always happy.

Saw cardiologist with hubby. His meds aren't working , so having normal pacemaker without the riskier defibrillator. But agreeing to do it reporting back for trials , he gets it quicker.
No real choice , his heart could fail at anytime without , so this gives him more chance of longer life.

AND ....in true StaffordJas fashion....ended up having my BP taken as in my panic my BP went through roof and mustn't have look well. 🤣 ( I'm on 2 lots of BP meds already)

Nearly ended up on a bed myself!
( nurses fault for looking at me as she said " we need to take 5 lots of bloods". Thought she meant off me )

Having a meal in Miller & Carter after a stressful day

Also found out today its no good relying on the lifeguards in our leisure centre pool.

Bloke in our class got into difficulties in deep water.Lifeguard stood there dithering & panicking. Our instructor on the poolside was about to push lifeguard into pool to rescue , shouting " get in there!!!"

Lifeguard was left standing on side clutching her heart looking shocked , as class participants rushed to throw floats to the bloke. Bloke survived thanks to rest of class!

With our Odeon Limitless tickets we went to see “Back to Black” the Amy Whinehouse film.
Throughly enjoyed it.

What a fabulous film, what a talent, what a waste.

Apparently, the reviews aren’t great, we can only conclude that the critics saw a different film to us.

Had yet another holiday cut short next week . Another cardiology 2hr+ appt just come through for next friday , for more loads of ECG and other tests on hubby before 3 lead CRT-P pacemaker fitted. At least it's the end of the Torquay holiday this time , so coming back thurs instead now for the friday appointment. (Still taking half the house down with us as usual though. I just can't😂 travel light . )

MRI was mid week the other week when we went to Weymouth .

Actual op date will probably come through during the week we've booked for Weymouth again in May....... (luckily paid more for free cancellation rate !)

Seems things are moving fast... only treatment left for hubby with his heart failure , so want it done...but worried about the op 😟

On a plane surrounded by cretins trying to ram too much into the overhead lockers, delayed by 20 mins so far.
I can (just) remember standing on a weighbridge, with luggage, and people getting off until a plausible total payload weight was reached, that would make the flight stand a decent chance of getting to the next airfield.

Nowadays, volume is more of an issue than weight.

Left or Right side?
Left side not working properly , so right forcing blood into left faster than it's able to pump it out and around the body ( which could cause things to go bang !) Wires going sort of top of right , top of left and bottom somewhere behind heart to get them both working in sync.

Majority of devices fitted with local anaesthetic and seditive , but warned him could also be a general anaesthetic.

Hubby not impressed I was supposed to be there supporting him , and ending up them looking after me as well . 😂

Cardiologists last words as he shook our hands....... " See you on the slab ! 😁 " :o

Just met a load of 10-15 gobby, arrogant blue noses on my tube from Euston Square to Paddington in readiness for United's annual trip to Wembley tomorrow.

When they realised they were on the wrong tube I kindly directed them to change at Edgware Road then told them to catch an anti clockwise circle train via Victoria and change at Baker Street.

I even got off to guide them to their tube to make sure they didn't miss it!!!

They should just about make the second half or the start of extra time 😂😂😂😂😂
