I pedalled three miles into a full gale to get to the pub tonight.

I was knackered when I got there.

I came home in top gear on the big chain wheel and I could have used a few higher gears.

Luckily, I was not apprehended by any enforcement personnel, in terms of speeding or substance issues.

Word in the house is that all of the family are off to Telford to see the in law. Not sure how to treat myself with the calm and serenity, a tip run? Have a drive to a record shop? Nap?

In true StaffordJas style, managed to get myself well known to manager & reception staff within minutes of checking in....😂
Went to reset the room safe, shut the door to find 'reset button' before reading ' press reset button INSIDE before closing '... ..locked out 🤣

Normally she'll do four or five days each week, usually for an hour or so around 10 or 11am, but never on Sundays.

'My' cat never attended to her duties on a Sunday in the past, but, since my absence for a few weeks, she has been here every Sunday since my return.

I think she may be expecting me to provide suitable facilities in a rest area, if she finds it necessary to have a break from security screening activities.
