Mundane facts about your day: Part Deux.

I often went through the graveyard to Eccleshall Road to visit my Aunt who was in a care home along there, that grave yard is massive..
Sometimes, youngest and I take a walk up the old railway lines to the cemetary. Depending on how my knees are feeling at the time, we either go left for a longer walk, or right so I can have several sit downs. There appears to be more benches on the newer side.

We were out with Mrs Noah's daughter. We had had lunch but she hadn't so she dived into a McDonalds and got herself a burger and latte. She had decided to get us each a cup of tea and something called a "Hot Cross Bun Pie" Ok, it was warm but certainly not hot, it neither had a cross on it nor was in angry, it wasn't a bun and it wasn't a pie. It was a sort of crispy finger thing with a sweet, creamy filling. OK but certainly not as described

Just to add I expect those stick on hooks will destroy the wallpaper when I remove them, but the plaster behind is rotten. Nails won't hold, I tried elsewhere. When I did the vent on the left I had to just stick it over as it all started to crumble, it's just my office and we're likely not having another child, plus the layout only really lends itself to one setup, so I'll just have these pics up forever or I'll sell and it's the next persons problem!

Glam,
You remind me of having a walk last Sunday afternoon between two cemeteries in Edinburgh to the Athletic Arms, a pub known locally as Diggers and one I last used forty years ago.

Wot no Superbikes? 🤣🤣
I actually had 2 bike ones that were going to be made but these are all the 'old' ones, the newer pics have very different internal frame dimensions meaning they can't mix and match on the hooks I meticulously lined up! And then the company I used for the latest ones went bust during covid it seems, a shame as I was paying £2 each for these.

Cambodia and Thailand are on our to do list, as well as Vietnam.
I believe all are beautiful places to visit, we need to get planning.
I'd like to have spent more time in Cambodia, we literally flew in for the temples, were there less than 48 hours! Was only as we had a few days to kill and I didn't fancy spending them all in Bangkok.

We were due to do Vietnam in March 2020. I'm eyeing it up for next year now given the way the bank holidays fall. Would probably just do the same itinerary.

No far flung and exciting places for us this year.(Furthest flights away me & hubby have been anyway is Tenerife and Malta).

Got Weymouth next week (Shooting off straight after hubbys heart MRI scan , so hopefully still goes ahead) and Torquay end of April booked so far.

Working on finding somewhere ,not too extortionate easter prices ,for this weekend for a couple of days.

(His hospital scan appointment would go and land right in the middle of his booked holiday week! so ended up 2 shorter breaks instead )
