Today I move to the darkside, my motorhome is being collected by a buyer on Tuesday but I pick up a caravan today. Never towed before so this will be fun.

Do you have to take an additional driving test now to tow a caravan?
Or is that just if you've only recently qualified?

It depends when you passed your test, think anyone in the last 10-15 years has to have another test.

If you passed your car driving test on or after 1 January 1997 you can:

• drive a car or van up to 3,500kg maximum authorised mass (MAM) towing a trailer of up to 750kg MAM
• tow a trailer over 750kg MAM as long as the combined MAM of the trailer and towing vehicle is no more than 3,500kg

Just received a letter from Vauxhall in the post, a month after Walton Garage closed, informing me of the closure. Good job I have Stafford Forum and Spotted to keep me informed on the most recent news as it actually happens !

So, I just picked up a piece of art from John Pye today. Our first “luxury asset” auction. It’s a piece by (we believe) Wendy Stevenson and it was listed as a print. It was £4.60.

Having just picked it up, it’s not a print I don’t think. The paint has depth which says “original” to me. And there’s a gallery sticker on the back with a £750 price tag on.
