Funny, but can't help but think if you keep laughing at her you're going to get six rounds from a .357 magnum revolver instead of a dozen or more from a 9mm semi-automatic and those numbers don't mean much after the first one goes through your cranium. :heyhey:

Tell that to a pike man standing on Marston Moor on a confused summer evening wondering what the f*** was going on. :|

Staying in a hotel in Birmingham prior to an early flight to Ireland for a motorhome holibob and they want a fiver to watch the TV in the room.

I pointed out that my booking through a certain hotel booking company stated multi channel TV, free WiFi, coffee and tea making facilities and all of a sudden I have unlimited access to the coffee machine, a TV remote, free wifi, an iron, and free cooked brekkie in the pub over the road.

Think I've won the Brucie bonus, didn't I do well? Good game, good game :)

Not bad for a £40 cheapo crash hotel.

There's an old Wessex at Beacon Barracks that they might flog you before it falls apart.

Took our big black Sooty Cat in the vets Tuesday evening to have his right eye removed, he had a tumour behind the eye, The 2 lads and daughter in law picked him up last night. He was high as a kite on the cat equivalent of morphine. Looks a right sorry sight in his cone of shame.
I've come home for my break and have currently got him sat on my knee purring his noddle off. Life is so unfair.

Poor lad, hope he learns to deal with it soon.
Animals seem to adapt so much quicker than us humans though.

He seems to be extra loving this morning, trying his best to look cute. I'm sure he'll cope.
Such a tart tho, all the women in the vets (Vets for Pets, Newport Road) fell in love with him.
Poor Sooty - lots of love to you both x.
Our (disability-cat) Sophie has spent the last couple of months up & down to Vets4pets also, I gave her a serious & stern talking to last time (also had to let the mini-me's know that she may have to be put to sleep (the cat, not the kid) which then of course made me the worst person on earth), on how she wouldn't be coming home with us if she didn't make an effort to get better - it seems to have worked really well, & fingers crossed she's much better, despite peeing in the bath the minute she was let out of her crate. (Or maybe the antibiotics worked).

I really hope poor Sooty recovers well, sounds like you and @littleme have been keeping Vets for Pets busy. Sending cuddles to both Sooty and Sophie - I'm a bit of a softy when it comes to cats, couldn't do without my Shelby.

@Glam Hope Sooty goes on ok . Big hugs  to both you and Sooty . I'm sure he will adapt well with only the one eye. Our old dog had her back leg amputated and it was amazing how her body adapted, her remaining back leg moved over to the middle more and she walked and ran for miles with us for years afterwards.

@littleme Big Hugs  to you and little Sophie cat as well. Glad she is seeming much better, and hope she carries on improving. I think she's rather clever peeing in the bath....her new loo :)

Just waved the plumber off after having my bath tap sorted, stood making my breakfast and felt water gushing over my feet. Washing machine spewing loads of water out of the door .......quick call to Tom Sturgess.......within an hour it was job done , I now have a new seal in the washing machine :)

They say things happen in threes.....think my bad eye and having to splash out over 400 quid for glasses last week counts as the third thing?

Ever since Sophie (*Disability-cat) was hit by the car, she's let us know that she doesn't feel well by Peeing in the bath. But this time it's gone on for a long time & we thought it might be the end of the road. It now seems that peeing in the bath is to show us just how cross she was to be kept in the dog crate for weeks. She has anger issues. ;)

* She likes to pretend that she can't do things after she was hit by a car several years ago, but she can move like a rocket when she sees a packet of **Doritos.

**Yes, my cat eats Doritos.

Thank you lovie xx
He is rolling round my bed at the mo like a kitten, mind you, he launched himsen off me onto said bed a couple of minutes ago, scratched all across my chest, won't be wearing any low tops for the forseeable future.

I had a puncture, the telly went bang, and I got a parking ticket because my permit had run out. That's the first lot of three. Sooty with his eye is the start of the second..........
