I think Easyjet may want to change their automated announcer which has just announced " the plane doors will be closing shortly please complete any final calls or text messages" !!!!!

On the subject of refuelling - after a few days with The Light on, I decided it was time to fill up.

The previous user's total was still on the pump when I got there.

£103...!

I have bought road-legal cars for less than that! With some fuel in.

I didn't see what the vehicle was, but the pump is not accessible to anything beyond a biggish, Transit-style van.

Coop sent an email telling me that they were putting up my gas and electric direct debit by an extra £60 p/m, got onto them and they went down to £1 with no effort at all, I pity the poor buggers that just accept their estimates.

I just discovered that the abandoned trolleys in the Asda carpark aren’t simply people leaving them when they dump their shopping in their car.

It’s also from people who will walk to the outskirts of the carpark, get all their shopping out of it and then leave it there while they walk home. As if the extra 100 or so yards makes a massive difference?

Enjoying a drop of red.

Every little helps.

No, that's Tesco innit.

I was pleasantly surprised yesterday when I went with my friend to see Bohemian Rhapsody. I was only going as a favour so they didn't have to go alone. It was quite good and I enjoyed it. Sadly I returned home to a kitchen that looks like a bomb site. Why am I the only one who thinks to empty and refill the dishwasher before doing food instead of just piling everything into the sink. sometimes they don't even scrape the plates first :barf:

Oh god. You have to scrape the plates or your dishes end up smelling like a sewer in a very short period of time.

Update on Sooty Cat. He has been discharged from the vets now, his eye is healing really well and he can have the cone of shame removed on Wednesday. Apparently he purred all the time in the vets yesterday, they all love him there. They don't know him...........
