@Glam Pleased to hear Sooty is doing well. :)

Walked through town and couldn't believe how many shops were closed mid-morning! Most of the ones that should have been open were closed .

Wondered what was going on at one of the high street banks with a massive queue outside at 10.20am.....just waiting for it to open.

Boots in the market square was closed completely with signs on the doors saying they hadn't got a pharmacist on site, so couldn't open the store.

Enjoyed a cheeseburger from McDonalds , which I shouldn't have had but I did, and put back on the calories I'd burnt walking down to town.

Been craving pancakes all the way home......bang goes the diet as I've just had to make loads and scoff the lot

250,000th poster!
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr, currently on holls from work for two weeks, or so I thought.....curious as to why my work app-thingy insists that I should go to work tomorrow, so I check the paper copy......& No, for some strange reason I must of decided it was a good idea to go in on the Tuesday in the middle of my 2 weeks off. :emo: :ohno: :strange:

Watch out for me tomorrow, I will be in a VERY bad mood! :blah:

In an effort to broaden our horizons and experiences we’re trying out things that we haven’t done before.

Last night we went to the ballet.

Swan Lake at Stafford Gatehouse, sold out show, full 30 piece orchestra, Russian ballet company.

I’m glad that I went, loved the music, the orchestra, the very talented dancers.

The whole experience was lovely. Not sure that I’m a total ballet convert but I’m glad that I’ve ticked it off my list.

Oh dear.
Just realised that the next thing that I haven’t done (in alphabetical order) after ballet, is bungee jumping.

Might skip that and go to the next one on the list

Banger racing comes before bungee jumping, surely?

What's the rest of the alphabet?

C is for cartwheeling?
D is for dogging??
