I'm starting to feel a bit left out with my piddling 5.56mm NATO rounds. :eek:
I have a couple of 30mm Aden cannon rounds.

Well, my wait is over, I've just received a call from our youngest son (17) to say he has passed his driving test. Now the worrying begins, I still worry abut the eldest son (30) who passed when he was 18. Now, where did I put my millions, sure going to need it for car insurance. As with our eldest, we will tax, insure and mot for 1st year but then its up to him.

We must all hope that he treats his missiles with more care then Arthur Tyldesley did...

He was an ATC Squadron Leader and had one suspended from the rafters of the Squadron hut. Come their annual inspection two senior officers walked in, looked in horror at the missile and said "You can't have that in here, we're not meant to promote that side of the service."

Tomorrow is the 'International Day of Happiness.' I intend to be happy.

I'll throw a grenade at anybody who isn't … :heyhey::teef::cops:

Slightly better than finding the tail-fins of a drop-tank in the sea, spending a few days after school getting them up the cliff, then sticking them in a bush in a chap's garden, a few weeks after a bomb had fallen off a Canberra into the NAAFI car park.

Then spending the night in the sports centre after the surrounding houses were evacuated.

Not that I know anybody that might have done that...

Now that the sun is out , don't feel so silly walking around smothered in suncream even in dull weather :cool:, as instructed by the pharmacist as she handed me my new extra strong antibiotics .

Bit worrying that I'm not allowed to lie down for at least half and hour after taking them..... at least I can stay standing as I'm also not allowed any booze for 3 weeks whilst on them :o (and just the day before I was prescribed them, booked a hotel for a footie match so that we could make a good boozy night of it . Looks like lemonade for me whilst watching everyone else getting off their heads. )

Woke up after the first days tablets feeling surprising well, much better than I've felt for months and months now. And again today after 2 days on them, woke up feeling quite well for a change . Either the super duper tablets kicking in straight away , or the fact that I'm having to force loads of water down me for a change to go with them . (Nothing to do with lack of cider of course ;))
