Going to Blackpool tmrw for the day with younger sister, her lad and knobheads Granddaughter.
Nephew is driving.
Poor sod doesn't realise that his favourite Aunty can't go more than 100yards as a passenger in a car without throwing up. Oh what fun we're going to have.

Well, been and now back home.
Went on the majority of the rides, lost my whole nervous system on the Icon ride. Didn't really have to queue long for anything, I think the weather put a lot of people off.
Absolutely bostin day was had by all.
Many apologies to those in the cars next to us on the journey home, Nephew and I sang our heads off from I think Junc 32 of the M6 to Junc 15 and then all the way back to Bishops Offley.
And I didn't throw up once...........

Well done, told you you would.
Was a bit hit and miss TBH, I flagged 8 I didn't know the answer to and had tio think carefully on. Got 46 in the end so I got half of those right in the end I assume, and got 56 on the hazard perception so not amazing but a clear pass (current pass rates are 43/50 for the multiple choice and 44/75 for HP).
Would be nice to celebrate, but I have a driving lesson 8-9pm and have to be in Crewe for 6:30 the following day (which is also my birthday) on the motorbike. Bah!

One last theory question for you to answer.

If a Tek-monkey is travelling at 30mph around Stafford tonight between 8 and 9pm, in theory is it safer to stay in the pub for the duration or just walk down the centre of the road as the pavements may be being driven along?

Using my hazard perception skills I suspect the former would be the best choice.

Enjoying a drop of red.

Totally irrelevant as staying in the pub should always be the default choice for any right-thinking individual, regardless of the circumstances.

Well, managed drag mesen out me pit this morning, aching all over, could hardly walk.
Right arm is noticeably swollen, must be due to the way I was gripping on to those rides for dear life!

Home from my holibobs to find that the cats had thoughtfully started stripping the wallpaper for me.

I didn't actually have any plans to redecorate.

Today, I assembled an 8' x 6' pent roof shed. This involved moving the six sides of the 'cube' up, down and around an obstacle course of a garden to the intended site, a very constricted space, where the shed did eventually fit, much to my relief. I had the householder as an assistant, which was slightly alarming, as some panels, the single-piece roof in particular, were rather heavy and had to be lifted over the many obstacles. Adding to the stress was the fact that my assistant has an appointment with his heart surgeon in Leicester tomorrow morning, to discuss the next stage of the rebuild that has been going on for the last couple of years!

Anyway, we did eventually complete the reassembly satisfactorily, though getting the single piece roof panel onto the top was a struggle for the two of us, plus the bloke from across the road.

The point of all this is that I am knackered - although I do know that I dismantled the shed about seven years ago, before it was transported to the current location. I dismantled it on my own - and then got all of it over a six foot fence to await collection - I'm not at all sure how I did it...
