And is hubby wearing the same mankini?? :)
If he was it would be one way of making sure people give us a wide berth and social distance away from us

Dreading to think what adverts will be coming up on my phone now, after accidentally finding 'Swingers Beaches' whilst searching for places to move on to for next weeks holiday .....:o

Got out of it as soon as I realised in a moment of blind panic . Hubby walked past and exclaimed "what on earth are you on?" as a pair of (think it was Wessex) boobs was being jiggled towards the camera lol.

Thought I'd put in 'English seaside resorts' for ideas , but obviously didn't as typing that in now brings up more suitable suggestions.

Decided the ancient paper Collins map in the car is going to be the safer option!

Axmouth, Seaton and Beern are nice if you want to head a little further West.

The pub I'd booked a table for tonight was the one I was most worried about and considering cancelling.
Glad I didn't as feels the most Covid safe one yet and following the rules to the letter. So much so, and enjoyed our meals so much as well, that booked in here for the rest of week ( and making friends with the manager has nabbed us the same best table with fantastic sea views for the rest of the week ;) ) and going to cancel the others booked who seem to be winging it.

Mini-me went back to school today, 1st day since March.

Excited to see her friends in her year 11 Bubble, but said absolutely no social distancing took place at all.

I've got a sinking feeling, hope I'm wrong.

Given her concerns before then it's amazing she's gone. But yes, lots of asymptomatic teens who pass it up generations.

It is, even when allowed back out to mix, she's probably only gone out with friends about 4 times (including her first ever date!).

How long before the first teen realises that if they tell a teacher they don't feel well, they'll be sent home in an instant, and get themselves and their friends a nice two week holiday... Good luck @That-Crazy-Rat-Lady - fingers crossed for you back at school tomorrow.

Thank you!

Inset day tomorrow and Friday so I don't actually see any covid-carriers (ahem - children) until Monday.

I'm actually looking forward to going back but then again I'm young, healthy and have no contact with anyone vulnerable so count myself very lucky.

It must be terrifying for some!

I'll let you know how it goes!

Mini-me was very nervous going back, but had a great day, and was so pleased to see her friends and (some) teachers. It was nice to see her happy and excited when she came home.

Fingers crossed for this year of schooling as she is now yr11, so I'm hoping everything goes well for all of them as they've missed out on work experience, and so much of the last school year already.

Hope you have a great day too x

Thinking I've just encountered spiritual activity in the ladies loos upstairs in a pub :o
( Gent's downstairs with these covid rules, so only me up there.) Bad knees had no choice than to leg it down steep stairs 3 at a time in fright!

Found out the landing up there supposed to be haunted by a young lady who appears then fades into the wall, as well as other past characters making appearances.

Crossing my legs now , daren't go up there again

First ever date! I dread that. Mine is 7 so I've got about 20 - 30 years before that's allowed :heyhey:
