Tea dances in the tower ballroom ??
I'm still wondering what that really means..?

Have a good time , and make a note of where you are staying before you head off out for the night.....
We once lost our digs after a night out in Blackpool. Found a place after driving around looking for 'vacancies',parked up, threw our stuff in and off we went on the town...... came out of a different entrance to the nightclub that we went in and spent hours looking for our car parked in a street near to the flatlet. Without the car parked outside we wouldn't have seen our belongings again!
Then ,with a hangover from hell the next morning, had egg and chips for breakfast followed by lemon meringue . My best memories of Blackpool

I'm going to be very boring love, going on my own, so won't be sampling the nightlife, int the same on your own for me. I just want to escape Stafford for a couple of days. I intend to do a lot of walking, nozzing round the gift shops etc, then come dark, when everyone is tartin themsens up for the night, i'll be heading back me hotel to read me book, watch a bit of telly and sleep.
My hotel's right on the sea front, just a few mins walk from the tower, so I hope i'll be able find it.

stayed in Blackpool for a hen party, there was a sign above the bed informing guests that should they wet the bed they would be charged for the cleaning. Shuddered!

Spent the most glorious (and longest) day of the year in a classroom - doing training I have already done!
I learned nothing - guess why?!
Because I learned it all last time! Tah!
Although I did spend one full hour in the sun reading a book this evening - the first bit of sun I've enjoyed all year!

Today, I managed to combine the parts from two, slightly different, hedge trimmers into one decent machine, using the best parts from both. The had both exhibited different potentially fatal symptoms, both had packed in on me in the last few days, but I now have one with the best features of both.

Today i put myself out for someone who was quite clearly pissed off that i was unwilling to put myself out for them.
By the time i had put myself out for them they had pissed off.
I was a bit pissed off that i had put myself out for someone who was pissed off that i was unwilling to put myself out for them when i had put myself out for them only for them to piss off before i could make them a little less pissed off about it.
In truth it's still pissing me off a little bit.

Mine have died again
I put them down to get a drink & when I picked them back up they refused to work.......husbands managed to fix them each time before....but no luck this time Boo hooo - the hedges really need cutting!
