Just got broadband connection up after a fault with Virgin in our area since early this afternoon.

Been awake since 4.30am, now have to spend the day waiting for news of whether husband gets to keep his job or not when the company he works for is sold today.

On the plus side, off to see youngest child at the Gatehouse tonight. That'll be the second time this year I've been out after dark!

Thank you Peggy. We knew from January that the company would be sold, but didn't find out till last night about the job losses and it being put straight into administration. Still no news from his company even though its been on BBC news. I presume BBC news is a reliable source? But who knows...

Thanks guys....no news really as regards to husbands job, but he's had to tell 4 stores that they're no longer part of the company, & other divisional managers have lost many more stores.
