I do wish my neighbours would close their doors rather than slam them... I'm fed up of having to keep straightening all of my pictures!
I also have "neighbours"* who have failed to come to grips with the advanced technology of the door handle, if that makes you feels any better.

*Neighbours, in the geographical sense only.
The sh!tstain that lives next door to me, knows no other way of closing any door. Even at 3 in the morning.

'Mine' have a special sequence of slams just before they leave the house - one morning they had a full Eastenders-style row at 6 am and then silence, followed by multiple door-slamming and the car driving off. I failed, in my drowsy stare, to count the number of car-door slams. So, I spent the next two weeks checking the windows for flies, but then they all came back, unfortunately.

Thought I was about to wake and find out it was all a dream.....................Had a fantastic drive down the southbound M6 from Jct 14 to Worcester in this mornings rush hour, especially spooky as the usual congestion hot spot between Hilton Park Services and Wednesbury was flowing so well . For several minutes between Jct11 - 10 there were no cars in sight in lanes 2 and 3 ! (A thought did occur that maybe something had happened further behind :hmm: ). Then sailed down the M5 no probs.

Friday afternoon traffic coming back wasn't so kind.....eventually got off at Cannock and hit traffic there , so me thinks take a short cut............. glad I got a good Sat nav as found parts of the chase I didn't know existed .

Then got home and went to get sons piles of washing out of the boot..........empty ...... "I thought you put it in! "

I also have some interesting neighbours, only they like to kick frack (try to demolish) out of the house when theyve had an arguement.....it appears to be 'his' birthday today - so it should be an interesting night....

Unfortunately I fear it could be genetic as my OH struggles with door handles when closing doors and has passed this on to the kids. Years later I am still trying to retrain them all. My poor neighbours must hear, bang followed by 'Use the damn door handle'. Failing that, I'm trying to persuade them to just leave the doors open

I gave the lawn a last cut for this year this afternoon although with the gale forecast for next week they will probably be covered in leaves and twigs again by Tuesday.

Wrapped my first Christmas present today...

Your leaving it a bit late Littleme - I've been buying gifts since August and picked up my christmas cards last week!

Hope everything's okay WRM!

I made pasta for lunch - made extra for the other half to have at work tomorrow - but it was so good I ate some of that too...

I pushed the remainder round his lunch tupperware to make it look likes there's more....

It's far too early for Christmas...

I keep saying I'll get mine done October half term and I never do then feel the stress a few days before Christmas and promise myself I won't leave it to last minute again ! I'm inspired to start mine next week now ......bet I won't !

I can't afford to start my Christmas shopping yet. I have 2 Spawn birthdays one with a meal out and one with family party/Halloween shenanigans, 2 40th b'day parties to go to, Edwardian costumes and accessories to fund. Then I can finally think about Christmas! :xd: I don't even like looking at all of that written down together lol.

I'm currently watching the wind and I am not at all happy with the thought of sending Spawn3 off to school on her bus :( ''It's too windy'' sounds like such a stupid excuse though I daren't use it so I just have to trust it's going to be fine :( I guess I'm just feeling overprotective.

We realised last week that being as husbands started his new job, hes gone from being paid weekly by the agency to be being paid monthly by the new job...a bit of a struggle I thought- but we will manage....untill I realised theres only 2 paydays before christmas & one of them only covers 2 weeks!!!

Its going to be a very lean christmas this year & I suspect I wont get a birthday at all next month :(

Im also watching/listening to the wind & hoping that the chimney stays attached to the house!

Just had a big gust of wind followed by a cloud of leaves, the cat was out but he's just flown through the cat flap. It feels more like a spring day out there than Autumn.

I'd definitely stop eating the leaves!
That's what vegetarian food does for you.
