Could be the invasive harlequin ladybirds or one of several native ones. A number of black on red ones also turn up in red on black forms.

Spouting nonsense since the day I learned to talk
12.50am last night got woken by someone trying to get in the front door.

Turned out it was our son who was supposed to be staying at a friends house after a night out but somehow he had wandered off and ended up at his girlfriends. As he was puking and not in a fit state to walk home, she got him a taxi. He didn’t have a key to get in (as he shouldn’t have needed one) so that’s why he made so much noise trying to get in.

We were then "treated" to an hour listening to him puking!

Today I went for a short canal walk. Pleasant, and interesting, marred only by not being able to walk easily along one section of the towpath because a mountain bike had chewed it up into a muddy channel. Blighter. Then, as I emerged onto the road next to a humpback bridge, a car driver decided to warn oncoming traffic of its presence by giving its horn a good long blast as it idled right next to me. Left ear still hurts.

Just stripped the felt off my shed (well, what was left of the felt) and the roof has the consistency of 3 day old weetabix. Time to find someone that can deliver 8x4 sheets of OSB!

After taxing my brain deciphering 2 train timetables , I've come to the conclusion it will be quicker,simpler ,a lot less hassle and cheaper to jump in the car instead.
