I wind my weekly clocks on a Sunday and my monthly clocks on the First - today is Sunday the First - my arm is hanging off.

Gob-smacked that sons letting agent, who is also the landlord, has sent all 5 of them in their shared house an e-mail , asking if they want to keep the house on for a further year from next July when their tenancy agreement ends....but if they do they have to pay £180 admin charges each ! :o (And now, to guarantee it, before they start showing anyone else around  )
I wrongly thought the landlord/letting agent would have been grateful to not have the fuss of finding new tenants and have the 5 lots of £470 guaranteed to be flowing in for an extra year. They have already paid £125 each for this years admin charges for credit checks etc !

They are now looking for elsewhere with another agent for their final year together!

Found a use for the Hot Chilli powder hubby bought , but way too hot even for him... Just sprinkled it in the area of the lawn the neighbours cats go to see if that deters them......

May be some cats coming home tonight either gasping for water, or with sore bums :D

I didn't believe Gram, so he sent me this picture. Now you want to see his living room.

Just nearly sh1t myself....sitting up not being able to sleep and scaring myself listening to all the creaks in the house. Just thinking I'd heard somewhere that 2am - ish is the spooky time of night and convincing myself the lights keep flickering....bloody daddy longlegs just flew into my face :o :D

Had the strangest night last night. Kept getting the sensation of being touched and woke up a few times convinced something was standing over me. At one point I was sure I saw someone, just for a few moments mind. Now I know I'm not right but this is 'different' even for me. I can think of several explanations but I think the best option is to go with 'very vivid dreams'. Bloody weird!
Moved this best I could from totally the wrong place. Brain not working this morning.

I'm going to scare you now, I had exactly.the same years & years ago.....it occured at the same time as my *Granadad died, I'm not a believer of ghosts or spirits & it scared me witless. :(

My grandad passed away, however my parents (in their infinate wisdom) decided that being as I was sitting exams at the time - that they wouldn't tell me till the day before his funeral when the exams had finished. The poking/pushing/watching happened the night he passed away.

So far as I know no one I know has died just lately. It is the anniversary of a few family members however. I was attempting to stay away from that kind of explanation lol Glad I'm not the only one to have thought of it though.

One of mine has decided he likes the living room door post. Going to have to sand and paint it before inspection :hmm:

wanna see my snake?
Can I borrow one? Kept awake by a new rodent visitor right under my bedroom floor, git! I'd moved the ultrasonic thingy I assumed wasn't working to downstairs, I have now realised they have a different point of entry and moved it back and the bugger did indeed shut up once it was in my room again so I guess they do work a bit.

Afraid my kitties would be useless for mousing. You could borrow my JRTX she's fantastic at it lol.

My friends cat is excellent at mousing - the only downside it that she picks them up outside and then brings them inside before dropping them in the middle of the living room and sitting back to watch in amusement as everyone runs round trying to catch it...

That's what has scared me these last couple of weeks, been convinced someone is there since my dad has recently died .

Not so much recently, but I've often thought my dog was back visiting. Son was also shook up when he thought he saw a dog running up to the top of the stairs one night .
.:mystery: Then what was was rather spooky....a friend from work was visiting when I was off work after my hysterectomy. She suddenly looked round and said "Oooh, you've got a dog" Told her no, we haven't, then "Oh, thought it was a dog, must have been your cat then..?" Errrm no, apart from the fish we haven't got any pets at the moment. She was adamant she had just seen a small dog go behind the chairs. She didn't stop long after getting up to have a look and no pets in sight....
