Some of us are on nights this weekend too. And, we're on nights the Bank Holiday at end of the month too.

Went to the shops yesterday not knowing who would be open today. Walked around Sainsbury's thinking how organised I was only to find at the checkout I had forgot my wallet

Boots the opticians were open today, I thought it would be quiet
for my appointment but no, and I have to go back tomorrow to
have my eyes dilated, I have to walk there and back too, no
driving with wide pupils.

Went to Ironbridge this morning, had an ice cream, met several nice dogs.
Went to Much Wenlock, hymns for Good Friday at The Priory. Chinese takeaway for lunch.

We went out tonight to Pizza Express followed by comedy at The Met.

Young "up and coming" comedian called Bilal Zafar. Had a great time.

We like to go and see those that are so far unknown.

We've seen a few over the years that have made it big.

The Frog & Bucket usually have some good turns, first time I saw Ruff Daddy was at one of their roadshows, priceless.

Had a nice meal at The Green Man at Hixon tonight. They've got a new chef & the Chef's Burger was particularly nice. It's something that's been missing off the menu recently. We'll definitely be trying it again.
I don't recall seeing it mentioned here before which I find surprising (the pub, not the burger)

In Woodstock this weekend, in Oxfordshire as opposed to upstate New York. My wife was ahem, a little over served yesterday so it will be marvellous watching her try to hide a hangover.

Arrived at Lydden just before lunch having had a great drive down, with only one arsehole sitting in the middle lane doing 55 and getting irate when he's overtaken by truck and caravan in one of the totally deserted other lanes.

Pub found, lunch eaten, a couple more drinks then we'll head for a bit of a stroll with the dog.
