Just about recovered from last nights great 'Irish bar' experience. With live music and many pints going down a bit too easily, I was soon understanding the people who I couldn't understand when we first went in and singing songs that I didn't know I knew .

Planning a quieter night tonight...

So do people move to the right as they grow older or are we seeing a long term demographic change that it going to work up through the age groups with time?

I feel there is sea change, and not entirely based on university fees, in the young

Or perhaps it's just the 'educated' young

Just had to Google 'sea change' , never heard of that before.

On Estrella and lime and going down faster than planned...

Thinking may have to buy some bigger clothes before the end of the holiday..

@peggy Plenty of agua needed...it's hotting up even more each day.

When I've run marathons in Spain, spectators tend to offer you sweets and orange segments along the route...best avoided as I have found out after stupidly taking an orange from an outstretched arm at 25 miles...ended up :barf: over the finish line.... Still won over £100 in pesetas though :D

Pity we are going home on the 19th, or would have come along to cheer you on!

Pretty sure that airforce plane is going to take out the top of this hotel sometime in the future , not giving it much of a clearance :o
Not quick enough with my camera yet again to identify it! :rolleyes:. But its a grey one... :D

Oh my goodness it needs to cool down to a pleasant 18 for me to cope!
It would have been lovely to have had you there cheering me on but I'll take comfort in the knowledge very few I know will see me crawl over the finish line! Enjoy your holiday :)

Nearly 11pm here in Spain and I'm melting! Plenty of ( alcoholic) liquid required
Glad we didn't go on the trip to Seville we thought about, it was 42C there to day. We only reached 33C here :D

Dont forget that suncream @peggy ;)
