Sitting outside a bar, dripping with sweat trickling off my chin and elbows , hair looking like Ive just got out of the shower, and clothes stuck to me. Not a very glamourous look

The scary grey plane hasn't been over today, although yesterday circled the sea several times by us near the beach. Was half expecting him to start attacking like in the WW2 films as he swooped in towards us....

We haven't been bitten by mosquitoes in Spain for years.
Or anywhere.
It's total overkill but I cover myself after every shower in this ...
Avon skin so soft oil body spray.
Everybody uses this... cyclists, walkers, anyone near water.
Then in our room we have the plug in anti mosquito.
And when we go out in the evening we wear the anti mosquito bracelets that we buy from Amazon/eBay.
Even when we went to darkest Africa we didn't get bitten.
But oddly enough, something nibbled me last night in Bednall.
Serves me right.
Complacency.

Hubby hasn't got one bite, yet he wears no repellent at all
I'm covered in deet and as usual been bitten from day one!
Getting them from outside, so room plug- in devices not much use.
Whatever got me last night meant the business.
On the way from the bars, got a 'hola' from cops in a black maria
