Not quite sure the new price for the hotel booking I've just changed has actually been quoted correctly for the extra days :hmm: But the extra price quoted + the original days booked + parking all adds up to the final total price she confirmed over the phone.......... If it is when we turn up, it's a bargain :)

Summary of my week so far:
Monday - OH unwell, super grumpy. My day at friends cancelled to keep the peace.
Tuesday- Eldest Spawn's b'day and a yarn emergency as I run out mid project. Turns out that type of yarn cannot be gotten for love nor money. Alter project. End up eating out and watching the new Thor,:love::D
Wednesday- Call for help from my Mum, she'd fallen the night before and my Dad was having a bad day. Could I go help with a new tv table. Turns out it involved unwiring and rewiring their complicated speaker system too. While I was there my Dad had a fall and took some manoeuvring to get up again. Also get stressed grump call from OH who is having a disagreement with Spawn2 (age 14) 6hrs later I'm heading home, never get to lidl to buy food.
Thursday - Eldest and Honorary Spawn pick me up. We go to their place so I can use the dryer as mine is broken. His family turn up and mild chaos reigns for an hour, my they are loud lol. Finally we head to Lidl to buy food. 3 aisles in Eldest Spawn drops like a rock. When she comes round she isn't good so we end up calling an ambulance. Shopping abandoned as we go for a ride in it to A&E. She has pain so we are all scared. Few tests/hours later she is cleared but sent around to Maternity Triage. After about an hour they send HS off home for her green notes. While he's gone I got to keep her company and they got the Doppler out. Tears of relief all around as the little heartbeat was loud and clear going like a train along with lots of vigorous moving noises. Send us all off after 6 hours with a reassuring, we don't know why you collapsed but you are ok now lol. Have to stop at late night garage for a loaf and a pint of milk to try to feed OH.
Friday - 7am message from ES to tell me her sofa had just arrived and only after she'd wibbled did the delivery guys take it up to the flat for her. I'm on skype with her to keep her company. OH is rather grumpy...

I'm a bit tired....
@Gadget  Glad all is well with your daughter and baby .

Get it paid for in full now. They can't ask for the difference when they realise the mistake if it's paid for.

Give OH a slap and send him to do the shopping, seems you have plenty on your plate without having to look after him too!

Rang them again to make sure (I will be marked up as a nuisance caller at this rate  ) Emailed me all the prices and what I've booked , so got it in writing now as well :D

Tried yet again to get a nice outfit for sons graduation ceremony, but there's better sitting in my wardrobe than I've tried on in all the shops . Managed to get a nice cheapo black jacket which will go with most things though (don't want to pay too much if I'm going to lose all this weight on this latest 'non-happening' diet.....Shouldn't have been such a :pig: :munch: lately! . ), so a matter of getting everything out of the wardrobe to make a decent outfit up.

I know...already told me he's off out with his mates at night, so probably won't see much of him during the daytime as well. Said he doesn't mind us stumbling across him in the pubs, just not to appear in the clubs afterwards , strutting our stuff :bananafunk::banana:

We have many real ale pubs to visit over our few days stay down there :pint:

Got food finally, no thanks to Lidl. They haven't a clue what happened to my trolley token I left in the trolley as we headed to the ambulance despite the manager assuring me not to worry they'd look after everything. Shrugged me off and wasn't interested today when I asked if they had it. I mentioned i'd now nothing for a trolley they pointed at the baskets and walked off. Grumpy OH then snapped at me :blah::mad:. The place was full of aisle blockers and then a bunch of teens caused chaos as they romped through the store just for Lols not one member of staff batted an eyelid. I'm considering pretending to be dead tomorrow so the world leaves me alone.

I don't know if that will be far enough. If she's gonna light up with one of those things I think being down in Cornwall might be the better plan ...:shifty::lolsmash:

We've just been to Sainsbury's (Cannock) to take advantage of the 25% off 6 or more bottles of wine.

We've bought loads of beer, wine, prosecco for next weeks fireworks and fizz party.

Bought some to put away for Christmas as well.

It's such a good deal especially if it's already discounted and then you get another 25% on top of that, it's like a double discount.

After unloading it and putting it away I found 8 bottles of prosecco that I'd hidden away from a previous shopping trip.

It was like finding buried treasure.:)

Being evil today for no reason at all. :( ( Could be something to do with the nightmare I had last night due to the scenes in Corrie last night with Pat Phelan featuring in my nightmare. Woke hubby up in the early hours warning him that I could easily do away with him  )

Been going mad slinging nearly everything in sight. Got to me so much clearing all the clutter in my late parents house the last 3 weeks, I'm determined get rid of all things not essential in my house. Any duplicated or unwanted paperwork is going, along with anything else that has been sitting in drawers and cupboards the last 30 years or so and only seen the light of day when it's taken out to clean and put back in again!
