Very good advice as @tek-monkey has followed up with as well.I wouldn't cancel. Have the decision made for you when the time comes.
Apparently in Aldi people having bananas stripped off the bunch they pick up to buy, as only allowed 4 of each item. (Yet you can buy 4 x 6 packs of them) .
Portugal seems about the only place not putting people into isolation/lockdown when they enter yet. (just sending the cops around bars/restaurants that are still open making sure they are shut by 9pm)
Had an email from Gov.Uk last night saying :
Update on GOV.UK.
Portugal travel advice
Change made
The Foreign and Commonwealth Office advise against all but essential travel to the archipelagos of Madeira and the Azores due to travel restrictions related to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

As off next week aldi will not be selling any wines spirits. This is so they can clear the shelves to put more stock out.
Glad I got my 3 bottles of wine and a bottle of whisky along with a box of Strongbow from the Co-op today then. Never seen so many customers in Wildwood Co-op! If we're likely to be stuck in for 4 months going to need some booze to get us through. (Already arguing after being reminded that , even though we aren't yet 70 , we are both in the vulnerable group on pre-existing illnesses listed .. )
Can't see my hoard of 4 bars of fruit & nut lasting long either.....scoffed most of it this afternoon.. Sod the diet !
If we were both in good health , and not in our 60's , I wouldn't have thought twice about going over if we could , or hanging on to see if the decision was taken out of our hands. Bit of a worry withs hubbys heart failure though , and didn't want to find we could go and then him catch the virus over thereVery good advice as @tek-monkey has followed up with as well.
Worse happened last night when I went to Aldi for our usual weekly stock up of cider..... even that was being rationed and had to put some back
Thanks, might need to if we are in enforced isolation with this over 70's and younger people with health conditions (which we fall into) 4 month isolation talk.
This morning Mrs T bought a four pack of cheapo kitchen rolls, not the heavy duty stuff. Cut them in half to normal bog roll size.Sainsburys had loo rolls earlier, I managed get the last pack of 4. 1 of the managers and assistant were stood watching people just grab them off the shelves. Folk were leaving the store with 3 or 4 packs at a time.
As they're not designed for flushing (so I'm told), let's hope they don't clog your loo. This morning Mrs T bought a four pack of cheapo kitchen rolls, not the heavy duty stuff. Cut them in half to normal bog roll size.
Job's a good un.
The drain cleaners are wringing their hands in glee as we speak...As they're not designed for flushing (so I'm told), let's hope they don't clog your loo.
Had crossed my mind but as they're thinner than the toilet rolls we've been using (and now not kitchen roll size) I reckon we'll be ok.As they're not designed for flushing (so I'm told), let's hope they don't clog your loo.
You might be alright.Had crossed my mind but as they're thinner than the toilet rolls we've been using (and now not kitchen roll size) I reckon we'll be ok.
