I always assumed she was a kitten when you found her, she must have loved you a lot to stay after being homeless and coping on her own.Thank you everyone. It took her a long time to settle and trust us. She wasn't young when we rescued her, I reckon about 12years old. We had her for 8.
Been less than a year since we lost Sooty to cancer.
Life int half cruel. xx
If she was the type of person careing enough to take the time and trouble to find the owner of a cat she had just accidentally run over, I'm pretty sure she will have understood your reaction.I always assumed she was a kitten when you found her, she must have loved you a lot to stay after being homeless and coping on her own.
I hate this time of year, we lost our cat Tommy after a firework scared him & he ran straight in front of a car. The poor lady who hit him knocked on doors untill she found us, but I'm afraid I wasn't very nice to her, I've always regretted that I was so dismissive of her.
It's so hard to loose a beloved pet, they really are like family/children. And nothing anyone can say will console you. Just remember you did your very best for her, and gave her an extra chance at a happy life that she might not ever have had x
So sorry Tigger my big ginger cat didn't wake up yesterday morning. He was maybe 18ish. They break our hearts when they leave us.
