I see a petition has Been set up
Taylor Wimpey are ‘giving away’ over 500 meter squared of Virginia Park Public Open Space (POS) for development. In addition to losing this amount of land, a further portion will be lost to grading (i.e. will form a bank so as not to be a steep drop to the development). Over 30%of the POS will be lost.


In 2000 Taylor Wimpey confirmed to Stafford Borough Council of their intention to service Lord Stafford and 'give away' the POS for development. This information was not made available to house buyers either by Taylor Wimpey (as was Midland and General) or by Stafford Borough Council when houses were for sale from 2001 onwards.


We believe that residents should have been made aware of this development and loss from the outset and anything other is miss-selling.

Ask the council whether it's classified as Public or Protected, with documented evidence.
