yeah good luck with this one round here <rolls eyes>Graestrummer62 said:Just joined this forum and was wondering if Stafford had a wider community of public-spirited folk prepared to demonstrate their views. It surely exists, but how does it manifest itself outside of council meetings?
I believe the Occupy Together movement is wholesome and worthy of support.
One doesn't need to be a militant socialist to recognise the strength of feeling behind this:

Why is it up to others to condense everything down? It isn't a difficult article to read, though admittedly it is probably a bit more challenging than your average Daily Mail anti-immigration/cancer scare/Princess Diana/house prices are falling/persecuted motorist (delete as appropriate) tripe.shoes said:I would read the guardian article you posted, but, frankly, I can't be arsed. In fact, I'm not one for protesting anyway, as I'm sure you know from any posts I've made about unions
Anyway - fair play to those who do protest - although I feel your cries may be falling on deaf ears.
I didn't say it would?henryscat said:Obviously apathy will change everything for the better.shoes said:Anyway - fair play to those who do protest - although I feel your cries may be falling on deaf ears.
I didn't say it was difficult to read, I said I couldn't be bothered. It's no that difficult to understand my posts :phenryscat said:Why is it up to others to condense everything down?
