whats my doctor called?

im registered at the holmcroft surgery on holmcroft.....what?

i know its either lane or road, but the more i say each one of them (out loud...to my colleagues consternation) the more they both sound right.

plus, i cant actually remember my doctors name. is doctor pringle still there? if you can just tell me a few of their names i might be able to remember.

daft really, ive lived in sheffield for almost 3 years now but i still havent gotten round to changing my doctor.

thanks,

x

doctor hannigan sounds familiar as well.

is that the woman? i think ive seen her once.

do you actually say who your doctor is when you re-register at a new surgery or do they just need the surgery name?

i only just got round to registering at the surgery in my village (previously with a surgery benhind The Vine, near eccy road), and all they wanted to know was the address of my old surgery.. it was well easy - i just went in yesterday morning (to the new surgery), and they got all my files transferred and shiz..

does he make you drink his magic medicine, then takes your temperature with his special pink thermometer?

edit: oh god what's wrong with me?? lol

I re-registered not long ago. They ask for your NHS number, and I think the address of your old practice. If you know which docs you want to go with, just axe them innit.

What a handy thread for this. Does anyone know what's being built in front of the Greyhound, on the car park?

Flats! And in due course the Greyhound will follow by being converted into flats, sad loss of a "proper" boozer, for old gits like me! Always a favourite venue in the White Cross Darts League during the 80's! My mates regular, so he's going to have to find another one!
