The other day i found a packet of biscuits i'd brought back from Spain that i'd completely forgotten about.

For some reason this sparked me to belt out 'Spanish Caravan' by the Doors at the very top of my voice - CARRY ME CARAVAN TAKE ME AWAY. TAKE ME TO PORTUGAL, TAKE ME TO SPAIN etc. As you do.

Turning to YouTube, as is customary when one is struck by a suddenly invasive tune that now ABSOLUTELY must be listened to RIGHT NOW, i then rather inadvertently found myself deep in the throes of a Doors binge. You rather think that you think that the Doors are good simply because whenever you ever listened to them you were pretty high, and you sometimes wonder whether they were really as good as you thought they were because you aren't any more.

Then this comes on with the whole 'auto play' whatsit and you realise that the Doors really were an incredible band -

I listened to this earlier, then spent some time wondering if they perhaps were off their time.

Were Stornoway the band that opened the way for Mumford & Sons and the like?

It's a very lovely ep.

When these ladies did this song they titled it 'What's up' because they didn't want to get mixed up with Marvin Gaye's 'What's Going on.'

I gotta tell you Marvin this song pretty much blows yours right off the wall ….. :heyhey:

A good one for buskers (if they can handle the vocals).

Yeah it needs a voice with a bit of wattage in it … :heyhey:
I was thinking more that range may be a problem. I suggest simple stuff for my brother's hand to cover but I always have to check the vocals as neither singer has a great range.
